Job Overview

As Channel Manager, you will be responsible for meeting sales objectives, leading channel partner engagement, and ensuring the successful implementation of company programs. You will serve as a key advocate for Kollmorgen’s value proposition, educate partners and customers, and provide market intelligence to inform leadership decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet assigned sales volume, bookings, and strategic objectives with channel partners.
  • Manage distributor relationships and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders.
  • Lead commercial growth within brand-label partnerships and advocate for product enhancements.
  • Implement channel strategy, evaluate partner performance, and conduct regular QBRs.
  • Drive adoption of company programs and resolve channel conflicts.
  • Represent Kollmorgen at trade shows, conferences, and partner events.
  • Provide market intelligence on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Develop self-serve tools and processes to improve partner efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Industrial Technologies, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years in outside technical sales; motion control experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of technical product applications.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Excellent planning, time management, and ROI-based solution selling skills.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Internal & external conflict resolution abilities.
  • Empathy, customer advocacy, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as required.
  • U.S. Person status or eligibility under federal export control laws.
