Burr Pilger Mayer India Pvt. Ltd. (BPM India) is a subsidiary of BPM LLP. The Firm’s International Tax Practice is one of the largest on the West Coast and its well-recognized SEC practice serves approximately 35 public reporting companies, mostly in the technology industry.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving growth through lead generation, market research, and supporting our outbound campaign management efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential clients through various channels, including online research, social media, and networking events. Maintain and update lead databases to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • List Scrubbing: Regularly review and clean lead lists to eliminate duplicates and outdated contacts. Ensure all leads meet predefined criteria for targeting.
  • Contact Scrubbing: Verify and validate contact information to improve outreach effectiveness. Utilize CRM tools to manage and organize contacts systematically.
  • Market Research: Conduct comprehensive research on industry trends, competitor offerings, and potential client contacts by micro vertical. Analyze data to provide insights and reports to the sales team.
  • Outbound Campaign Management: Assist in the planning and execution of outbound marketing campaigns, including email outreach and follow-ups. Track and report on campaign performance metrics to optimize future efforts.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and share insights. Support the team in special projects and/or business development programs as needed.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports on lead generation activities, conversion rates, and other key metrics. Present findings and recommendations to the management team.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related area (fresh graduates with relevant internships are also encouraged to apply).
  • Previous knowledge and/or experience working with ERP, CRM, or other technology services organizations is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Mailchimp).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
