Job Overview

This role is ideal for experienced enterprise software sales professionals passionate about the power of WordPress. You'll take ownership of outbound prospecting, lead generation, and account management within named enterprise verticals. Collaborate closely with SDRs and Marketing to amplify outreach and position VIP as a critical partner for Global 2000 organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive significant revenue growth by securing new enterprise clients and expanding existing accounts.
  • Establish and nurture C-level relationships, positioning VIP as a strategic business partner.
  • Manage both transactional sales and large multimillion-dollar opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipelines, improving forecasting processes.
  • Develop and execute innovative, vertical-specific sales strategies for market penetration.
  • Engage in regular outbound prospecting and lead generation activities.
  • Provide customer insights to inform and enhance the product roadmap.
  • Elevate the WordPress VIP brand in the enterprise CMS space through impactful engagements.
  • Contribute to a high-performing sales culture by sharing best practices and mentoring peers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 7+ years of enterprise software sales experience, preferably in SaaS or CMS-related fields.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise software, IT landscapes, and content management systems.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in solutions-based selling and closing enterprise-level deals.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term executive customer relationships.
  • Skilled in managing and growing business within named accounts and industry verticals.
  • Comfortable negotiating terms and reviewing contracts with executive-level prospects.
  • Self-motivated with a drive for achieving revenue and growth targets individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Moderate travel required; fully remote work environment with an open vacation policy.
