As an Agency Partner Manager at Automattic, you will execute growth strategies and build strong relationships within our partner ecosystem of digital agencies. This fully remote role focuses on driving joint revenue goals, supporting agency enablement through training and co-marketing initiatives, and ensuring clients maximize value from Automattic's product suite. You will collaborate closely with internal business units and agency stakeholders, acting as their trusted advisor in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales of Automattic products through agency partner channels and identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies to expand agency partners’ book of business.
  • Manage all aspects of agency account management, including GTM strategy, technical escalations, and business reviews.
  • Recruit, onboard, and nurture agency partners aligned with A4A program objectives.
  • Provide training, support, and marketing enablement to partners, ensuring optimal product adoption and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor agency client site health and manage retention risks using Automattic products.
  • Attend flagship events (WordCamps, partner events) to drive lead generation and increase brand visibility.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales/CS, Product, and Executive teams.
  • Gather partner feedback to improve products, services, and the partnership experience.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and market developments to refine partnership strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS Channel Sales or Partner Management, preferably within the WordPress ecosystem.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and structuring successful partnerships.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and business opportunity identification skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work across multiple business units and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills (including for C-level audiences).
  • Familiarity with Automattic’s product suite, WordPress ecosystem, and agency tools (e.g., hosts, dev tools).
  • Proficiency in communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, adaptable to new technologies and market trends.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for partner events.
