The Sales Manager for K12 Strategic and Key Accounts is responsible for leading a sales team to consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales revenue targets. This remote position requires a focus on building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline while fostering a positive, people-first culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the sales team to achieve revenue targets and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Provide in-depth coaching through deal reviews using methodologies like MEDDPICC.
  • Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.
  • Manage individual and team performance on a regular basis.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support sales priorities.
  • Guide sales representatives in developing comprehensive territory plans.
  • Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new sales talent.
  • Serve as a conduit for market feedback to the product and marketing teams.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate CRM usage for pipeline management.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5+ years of direct sales experience within the K12 education market.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience leading a sales team managing a collective quota of $5M+ annually.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience selling into large Enterprise accounts.
  • Proficiency in sales methodologies like MEDDPICC.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and forecast accurately.
  • Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
  • Understanding of K12 procurement processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
