Canonical is seeking a Telecom Account Executive to drive the adoption of open-source solutions across various regions, including the Middle East, DACH, Nordics, Eastern Europe, and the USA. This remote role requires fluency in local languages and a deep understanding of customer needs in the telecom sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent Canonical and its software solutions within your territory.
  • Develop and execute a territory plan for outreach and prospecting.
  • Generate new business opportunities through outreach, local marketing, and industry events.
  • Close contracts to achieve quarterly and annual bookings targets.
  • Manage customer relationships through all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with field engineers to propose solutions that address customer business problems.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasts using Salesforce.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering or computer science.
  • Experience with open-source technology and solutions.
  • Track record of meeting sales targets and winning new accounts.
  • Self-discipline and motivation to succeed in a remote team environment.
  • Professional proficiency in English and relevant local languages.
  • Ability to travel for customer engagements and industry events.
