The Lab Manager will oversee the research and development (R&D) lab space at headquarters, ensuring optimal layout, organization, and readiness for various projects. This role involves managing shipping and receiving, maintaining inventory of parts, materials, and tools, and conducting regular inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage lab layout and organization for efficient workflow.
  • Oversee shipping, receiving, and inventory management of materials and tools.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are safe, calibrated, and maintained.
  • Build, modify, and repair electrical harnesses, cables, and prototype wiring.
  • Troubleshoot issues with lab prototypes, identifying root causes and validating fixes.
  • Support the rapid development of prototypes into lab or vehicle-ready assemblies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Experience in inventory management.
  • Proficiency in electrical and wiring systems.
  • Knowledge of safety and calibration protocols.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Experience with prototype development.
