The PS Sales Consultant at Kong will own the end-to-end Professional Services sales lifecycle, driving pipeline growth and collaborating with key stakeholders. This role is critical in architecting service proposals and building relationships with senior leaders to showcase API ROI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end PS sales lifecycle from pipeline to close.
  • Drive pipeline growth using MEDDPICC and Command of the Message methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Solution Architects to position Kong Professional Services effectively.
  • Architect service proposals and statements of work (SOWs) aligned with client objectives.
  • Lead discovery workshops and scope assessments, translating client needs into service designs.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Professional Services sales for enterprise technology.
  • Strong ability to articulate value propositions to both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience developing and presenting outcome-based proposals and SOWs.
  • Strong command of the sales process, including ROI justification.
  • Experience with Open Source, APIs, or Infrastructure technologies.
