We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead our backend architecture and system design. In this role, you will proactively propose and drive new systems that support critical customer-facing features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead backend architecture and system design initiatives.
  • Own the backend roadmap and drive technical decisions.
  • Optimize existing systems for performance, reliability, and cost.
  • Set engineering standards and lead design reviews.
  • Manage the technical roadmap and address larger scope problems.
  • Make technical recommendations to improve the codebase.
  • Coordinate and communicate with engineering, product, and design teams.
  • Leverage AI coding tools to accelerate development velocity.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, especially in backend/distributed systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Go, Python, Ruby, or similar backend languages/frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience in designing, building, and scaling distributed systems.
  • Proficient with AI-assisted development tools.
  • A T-shaped engineer mindset with deep expertise in at least one domain.
  • Proactive ownership mentality and comfort in ambiguity.
  • Familiarity with web services and cloud-native architectures.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
