We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead backend architecture and system design, driving initiatives that support critical customer-facing features. This role requires a proactive approach to managing the technical roadmap and coordinating cross-functional delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead backend architecture and system design.
  • Own the backend roadmap, driving technical decisions.
  • Optimize existing systems for performance, reliability, and cost.
  • Set engineering standards and lead design reviews.
  • Manage the technical roadmap and address large scope problems.
  • Make technical recommendations to improve the codebase.
  • Coordinate communication across engineering, product, and design teams.
  • Leverage AI coding tools to enhance development velocity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Deep expertise in backend/distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in Go, Python, Ruby, or similar languages.
  • Experience designing, building, and scaling distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with modern web services and cloud-native architectures.
  • Proficient with AI-assisted development tools.
  • A T-shaped engineer with a generalist mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
