The Data Center HVAC Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal operation of HVAC and refrigeration systems in mission-critical environments. This position involves a combination of maintenance, repair, and monitoring of equipment to maintain cooling performance and environmental integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, inspect, maintain, and repair critical HVAC/refrigeration systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and minor adjustments per site standards.
  • Diagnose mechanical failures and restore cooling performance.
  • Support system upgrades and ensure proper integration with existing systems.
  • Monitor equipment condition and environmental trends for potential risks.
  • Provide oversight during vendor maintenance and document findings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, pumps, valves, and controls.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance, corrective repair, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with refrigerant handling and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
  • Experience in vendor coordination and incident response.
