The Data Center HVAC Technician will operate, inspect, maintain, repair, and modify critical cooling and refrigeration systems within mission-critical environments. This role is essential for ensuring the efficiency and reliability of HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain critical cooling/refrigeration systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and minor corrective adjustments on HVAC/mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical failures and perform corrective repairs to restore cooling.
  • Support mechanical upgrades, installations, and changes while ensuring integration.
  • Monitor equipment condition and environmental trends to identify risks.
  • Provide technical oversight during vendor-maintained maintenance activities.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • HVAC certification, refrigeration certification, or equivalent trade qualification required.
  • 5+ years of experience with HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical systems in mission-critical environments.
  • Strong knowledge of chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, pumps, valves, and cooling towers.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance, corrective repair, and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with refrigerant handling, environmental regulations, and mechanical safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
