As a Territory Account Executive in Miami, you will spend approximately 80% of your week in the field, engaging with local businesses to close deals. This role encompasses a full-cycle sales process where you will generate leads, conduct demos, and successfully close sales. You will also establish yourself as a Square expert in your city, building relationships and onboarding new sellers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Spend ~80% of your week in the field visiting local businesses and closing deals.
  • Run a full-cycle, self-sourced sales motion: generate leads, demos, and close deals.
  • Build your city as a Square expert, establishing relationships and onboarding sellers.
  • Develop a disciplined referral strategy to turn new customers into future opportunities.
  • Build a high-velocity pipeline from the ground up with outreach, events, and partnerships.
  • Master verticals (restaurants, retail, services) to diagnose challenges and position Square solutions.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 3+ years in a full-cycle field sales role.
  • Experience exceeding targets and closing complex deals.
  • Ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Business development experience (hunting and cold calling).
  • Must live in the market served and have reliable transportation.
  • Salesforce experience or equivalent.
  • Even better: 2+ years in payments or related tech; 1+ year serving restaurants/retail/services.
