The Senior Business Value Consultant will support the sales organization in driving both tactical and strategic opportunities. The role involves developing collateral for new MongoDB products, mentoring sellers to enhance their value selling capabilities, and engaging with customers using a value-based selling approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the sales org to drive tactical and strategic opportunities.
  • Develop BVC collateral for new MongoDB products or address gaps.
  • Mentor sellers to improve value selling capabilities.
  • Engage with customers using a value-based selling approach.
  • Create and present the business case and forecasted impact.
  • Travel as required throughout the year.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • BA/BS from an accredited college; preference for business, economics, or finance.
  • 5+ years as a Business/Technology Strategy Consultant with business-case experience.
  • 1-3+ years at a vendor in a business value consulting role.
  • Enterprise financial modeling experience; familiarity with ROI, TCO, NPV, IRR.
  • Strong technical understanding of enterprise infrastructure, SDLC, Agile, DevOps, RDBMS/NoSQL.
  • Experience addressing executive and senior stakeholders.
