The VP of Commercial Sales for SMB will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, and developing a high-performing enterprise SaaS sales team. This role involves driving strategy and leading the Commercial Sales team to consistently exceed sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing sales team including Directors, Managers, and New Business Representatives.
  • Drive strategy and lead the Commercial Sales team to exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives.
  • Develop relationships with C-level executives and significantly increase Smartsheet's senior executive relationships.
  • Develop and execute sales management disciplines including forecasting and professional development.
  • Coach Directors in the execution of a solution-based sales process for accounts with up to 1,000 employees.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in strategic software sales management, preferably in Commercial Sales SaaS.
  • 10+ years of experience in the software industry with recent enterprise SaaS experience.
  • Proven ability to drive sales teams in executing land and expand sales strategies.
  • Demonstrated competence in engaging and developing relationships with C-level executives.
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Salesforce.com, Google Apps, and Tableau.
