The Senior Director of Education (Higher Ed) will design and execute a go-to-market (GTM) strategy focused on procurement and donor cycles in the higher education sector. This leadership role involves managing Tier 1 accounts, recruiting a high-performance team, and collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance and integration within university systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute a GTM strategy for higher education procurement and donor cycles.
  • Lead Tier 1 accounts, working closely with VPs of Advancement and CFOs to navigate long-cycle deals.
  • Recruit and scale a high-performance BDR/segment leadership team and drive accountability.
  • Establish forecasting, territory design, and performance analytics to ensure predictable revenue growth.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to address university compliance and integration needs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Success to drive thought leadership and retention.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in sales leadership or GTM strategy in complex SaaS or institutional environments.
  • Proven track record of managing managers and scaling high-performance teams.
  • Mastery of multi-stakeholder sales cycles and buying by committee.
  • Data-driven with experience in RevOps tools, forecasting models, and performance metrics.
  • Strong executive presence with experience presenting at conferences and board meetings.
  • Experience in Higher Education, Nonprofit, or EdTech preferred; venture-backed experience is a plus.
