Join our Pediatric Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Residency Program, where you will gain hands-on clinical experience while providing essential psychiatric evaluations and treatment plans to children. This residency is designed for recent graduates or those with limited experience, offering a unique opportunity to enhance your skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pediatric psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with psychotherapists on integrated care and medication management.
  • Provide care at our Allentown, PA clinic up to 3 days a week.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA confidentiality.
  • Participate in weekly team and supervisory meetings.
  • Manage diagnostic testing and lab results.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • National certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
  • Master’s degree in nursing (PMHNP) with recent graduation or less than 1 year PMHNP experience.
  • Active PMHNP license and PA DEA or on track to obtain by start.
  • In-person work at Allentown, PA clinic up to 3 days/week.
  • Availability for 12 of 40 weekly hours during peak after-school hours (after 4 pm ET or weekends).
  • Willingness to engage in a 12-month residency with a 2-year post-residency commitment.
