As an Intake Specialist I, you will play a crucial role in the enrollment of patients and caregivers into FreedomCare Home Care programs. This position is remote and based in Colorado Springs, CO. You will serve as the single point of contact for patients and caregivers, guiding them through the application and enrollment process while ensuring a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate intake and onboarding for patients and caregivers.
  • Educate and assist applicants through the application and enrollment process.
  • Meet monthly metrics for starting patients on care and manage call handling.
  • Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls with a customer service mindset.
  • Resolve issues over the phone with eager clients, ensuring a satisfactory experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and ability to maintain detailed case notes.
  • Strong typing and computer skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy, active listening, and patience.
  • Understanding of HIPAA compliance standards.
  • Willingness to participate in wellness programs and ongoing learning opportunities.
