Join Archer's team as a Staff Manufacturing Engineer, where you will tackle challenging composite structures and contribute significantly to the manufacturing process. You will provide essential input to resolve issues, mentor engineers and technicians, and drive innovative composite processing techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide manufacturing input to resolve issues in composite structures.
  • Mentor and guide manufacturing engineers and technicians.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions as the primary shop-floor expert.
  • Collaborate with the design team during the initial design stages to integrate manufacturing considerations.
  • Develop new composite processing techniques utilizing advanced materials and tooling.
  • Drive the development of tooling strategies and fixtures for high-precision prototype builds.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 10+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience, particularly in airframe assembly and composites.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience with composite materials and strong fabrication skills.
  • Proven track record in applying DFM principles to complex composite parts.
  • Understanding of composite part design, material properties, and testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (NX preferred) and experience with Fibersim or Composite Workbench.
