As a Sales Account Executive, you will own the full outbound sales cycle, engaging with SMB and mid-market merchants. This role involves building and managing a high-quality pipeline through various outreach strategies and developing tailored multi-product solutions across Square's ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the full outbound sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation to close.
  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline through cold outreach, social selling, and targeted campaigns.
  • Develop and tailor multi-product solutions to meet the unique needs of each merchant.
  • Partner with Business Development on lead flow and drive net-new logo acquisition independently.
  • Conduct high-impact discovery calls, demos, and negotiations across multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Act as a consultant and trusted advisor across BDR, AE, and AM responsibilities when needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full-cycle B2B sales experience with a proven record of quota achievement.
  • Experience in outbound prospecting and net-new business creation, preferably in SaaS or fintech.
  • Proven ability to close complex, multi-threaded deals with longer sales cycles.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills across various channels.
  • Advanced proficiency with Salesforce and modern sales tools.
  • Ability to build a pipeline from scratch using targeted and strategic outreach.
