Join Goodnotes Foundation as a UX Researcher to lead and shape the core experiences of a beloved note-taking app used by millions worldwide. Work remotely or from our Hong Kong or London offices within an async-first, collaborative team spanning Asia and Europe. Your insights will directly influence multi-platform design decisions and elevate user experience across iOS, Android, Windows, and Web.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct foundational and evaluative UX research studies for product improvement.
  • Deliver high-quality insights to guide strategic and tactical product decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers.
  • Uncover unmet user needs and identify areas for innovation.
  • Drive the transition from intuition-led to insight-led decision making within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 3-4+ years in-house UX research experience.
  • Proven ability to independently lead end-to-end research studies.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating impact on product design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort with qualitative and light quantitative research methods.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and select appropriate research methods.
  • Understanding of business and product metrics in research recommendations.
  • Experience with multi-platform apps or productivity tools (preferred).
  • Familiarity with remote testing tools and workflows (preferred).
