Senior Systems Engineer

As a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Autonomy Behavior and Services, you will play a crucial role in the development of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features, focusing on integration with Ford's technology. This position requires a combination of technical expertise and collaborative skills to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own systems engineering of multiple ADAS features and Ford integration.
• Write performance requirements for features across nominal operations and variations.
• Create verification plans and acceptance criteria; support verification and validation (V&V).
• Perform failure analyses to identify and prevent issues.
• Lead system-level performance analysis and metrics design.
• Collaborate with perception and motion planning teams on architecture.
• Work with Integration and Test to develop design verification plans.
• Periodically test the product and provide expert feedback.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Robotics.
• 4+ years in automotive or robotics engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in perception and motion planning production applications.
• Experience writing functional requirements.
• Experience with data-driven analysis and statistics.
• Experience designing and developing algorithms.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and Git.
• Doctorate in robotics perception or motion planning (nice to have).
