The Program Navigator is responsible for welcoming and orienting participants to the Center, ensuring they have access to safety resources and fostering an inclusive environment. This role involves managing sign-in logs, connecting participants to care and case management, and performing wellness checks to ensure participant safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and orient participants to the Center and available safety resources.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere while promoting mutual respect.
  • Assist participants in accessing amenities and managing sign-in logs.
  • Connect participants to care and case management, linking them to internal and external resources.
  • Perform safety and wellness checks to ensure the safety of all participants.
  • Maintain clean and organized common areas as well as accurate records in logs or Salesforce.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED; equivalent education/experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in health/human services providing advocacy, navigation, or low-threshold case management.
  • Proficient in using computer systems for typing, research, formatting, and data entry.
  • CPR/First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, Crisis Prevention, and Overdose Prevention certifications required within 3 months.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a strong knowledge of de-escalation techniques.
  • Experience managing crowds and high-stress situations while liaising with emergency personnel.
