As a Product Counsel, you will advise on laws, compliance, and industry standards with a strong focus on safety, moderation, and advertising. You will review products and initiatives to ensure adherence to global legal obligations while supporting product and ad growth through informed policy considerations.

Key Responsibilities

Review products and initiatives for compliance with global legal obligations.
Support product and ad growth with strategic policy considerations.
Draft consumer disclosures, FAQs, and terms for various products.
Develop and implement strategies for disputes, enforcement, and regulatory matters.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Privacy, Policy, Marketing, and Trust teams.
Provide training to teammates and work on improving legal processes.
Stay updated on relevant laws and industry standards impacting the business.

Requirements & Qualifications

J.D. Degree and California Bar admission in good standing (or California Registered In-House Counsel).
5+ years of relevant tech/internet legal experience, with 1+ year in-house preferred.
Experience advising clients in video, mobile, gaming, ecommerce, or UGC products/services.
Knowledge of US and international online safety, youth safety, content moderation, advertising, and brand protection.
Strong collaborative attitude, desire to work in a team, and a sense of humor.
