We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Engineering to drive the technical vision and sustainable architecture for our Okta Device Access project. This role involves leading the delivery of a native macOS client and backend services while fostering a high-performance culture within the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive end-to-end technical vision and sustainable architecture.
  • Lead delivery of native macOS client and backend services.
  • Coach engineers, hire talent, and shape a performance-oriented culture.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to make growth-minded decisions.
  • Define strategy across the full technology stack.
  • Build high-performing, cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.
  • Provide expert coaching to senior engineers and managers.
  • Oversee strategic execution, roadmap planning, and cross-functional projects.
  • Lead teams in an agile/CI/CD environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of proven leadership and people management experience.
  • Technical depth in backend distributed systems or macOS/iOS.
  • Strong skills in strategic execution and roadmap planning.
  • Expertise in agile methodologies.
  • U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident; visa holders not eligible.
