Associate Director, Pharmacology

We are seeking an Associate Director of in vitro Pharmacology to lead our liver biology target validation efforts. This role encompasses the development and execution of strategies for target validation, as well as collaboration with various teams to achieve program goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead liver biology target validation including strategy, execution, and interpretation.
• Develop and implement in vitro pharmacology strategies.
• Collaborate with in vivo pharmacology teams.
• Work with Target Identification to create in vitro models and assays for targets.
• Present data-driven go/no-go decisions on targets.
• Demonstrate leadership and mentoring skills within the team.
• Analyze and present data; contribute to peer-reviewed publications as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• PhD in biological sciences.
• 6+ years of experience in in vitro pharmacology related to genetic medicines.
• 3+ years of experience leading teams to meet program objectives.
• Hands-on experience with in vitro liver disease models and assays.
• Experience with gene editing or oligonucleotide therapeutics.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex data to diverse stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, integrity, creativity, and a collaborative mindset.
