As a Legal Expert, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the accuracy and reliability of advanced AI systems by crafting legal questions, evaluating model responses, and solving complex legal problems. This fully remote, part-time position is ideal for experienced legal professionals passionate about shaping the future of AI-driven legal workflows.

Job Overview
  • Collaborate with AI researchers to improve legal AI systems.
  • Create and review high-quality legal questions and evaluation sets.
  • Evaluate AI-generated legal responses for clarity, accuracy, and legal reasoning.
  • Address domain-specific legal challenges to benchmark AI performance.
  • Provide structured, actionable feedback to refine AI legal models.
Key Responsibilities
  • Craft and review comprehensive legal questions and evaluation materials.
  • Assess AI-generated legal outputs for correctness and alignment with legal standards.
  • Solve specialized legal problems to test AI capabilities.
  • Synthesize complex legal information from a variety of sources.
  • Deliver clear feedback to support continuous AI model improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Advanced legal education (LL.M., J.D., S.J.D., or Ph.D. in Law), preferably from a top US university.
  • Strong analytical and online research abilities.
  • Exceptional written communication and attention to detail.
  • Experience synthesizing complex legal concepts from diverse sources.
  • Prior legal practice or industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Eligible to work remotely from the US, UK, Canada, or Australia.
