Automattic is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our global team and design exceptional products that enhance the user experience across our platforms, including WordPress, WooCommerce, and Tumblr. This role involves close collaboration with engineers, marketers, and customer support specialists to create innovative solutions for millions of users around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design exceptional products from start to finish, participating in all phases of design.
  • Iterate with prototypes informed by user research and business goals.
  • Communicate and share work regularly to align with teams.
  • Collaborate with engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences.
  • Contribute to open-source and design communities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with AI tools and automation in the design process.
  • Strong understanding of user needs and delivering clear design solutions.
  • Proficiency in design tools, especially Figma.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Portfolio showcasing strong UI and visual design skills.
