We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to own quota and manage the full sales cycle from first touch to activation across diverse companies. You will design and execute your pipeline through outbound, inbound, and creative channels while collaborating with SDRs. This role requires a strategic and adaptive approach to uncovering pain points within cash, payments, and operations, connecting them to Mercury products, and presenting clear narratives for informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own quota and manage the full sales cycle.
  • Design and execute sales pipeline through various channels.
  • Conduct discovery sessions with founders and finance teams.
  • Identify and connect customer pain points to Mercury products.
  • Drive a strong pipeline of high-velocity deals.
  • Collaborate with Account Management, Partnerships, Marketing, and Product teams.
  • Coach and develop through feedback and improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Three years of closing experience in AE or full-cycle roles.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills.
  • Curiosity and creativity in problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage time and pipeline with ownership.
  • Experience in a high-growth fintech environment.
  • Adaptability to customer needs, especially founders.
  • Resourcefulness in building a pipeline from near-zero.
