RStudio is seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is 100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the world. As a member of RStudio, you will contribute to creating user-centered designs for our products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Job Overview
  • Lead UX design initiatives for RStudio's products in a remote-first environment.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to enhance usability and accessibility.
  • Advocate for user-centered design and best practices across all projects.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive company culture focused on good work and good people.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and desktop applications.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and synthesize findings to inform design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs.
  • Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver end-to-end design solutions.
  • Continuously improve product usability based on user feedback and analytics.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Senior UX Designer or similar role.
  • Expertise with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX design for web and desktop applications.
  • Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of user research methodologies and usability testing.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field preferred.
