Job Overview

Canonical is seeking a Partner Sales Executive for the ANZ region to grow their channel sales team and capitalize on the rapidly growing demand for open source technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving annual growth quotas by identifying, prospecting, and engaging reseller and distributor partners to expand Canonical's business within the territory.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute channel strategy for distributors and resellers
  • Increase awareness of Canonical as a lead player in Open Source and Cloud models
  • Identify and recruit new potential partners in the assigned territory
  • Guide partners through onboarding and enablement
  • Develop go-to-market plans and commitments with partners
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology field
  • Experience in software or technology sales from the specified market
  • Ability to sell open source, cloud, and technical software solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Startup experience would be an advantage
