As a Senior Director of Medical Operations and Analytics, you will play a pivotal leadership role within the Medical Affairs organization, ensuring operational excellence, organizational efficiency, and successful project delivery. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a passionate team of oncologists, scientists, and professionals committed to improving pediatric oncology outcomes.

Job Overview

The Senior Director, Medical Operations and Analytics, will drive key Medical Affairs initiatives, oversee strategic project management, and foster cross-functional collaboration. This role is critical for optimizing processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting the success of innovative cancer therapies. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Medical Affairs, you will manage teams, budgets, vendors, and operational systems to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead operational excellence and efficiency across all Medical Affairs deliverables.
  • Oversee project management, process optimization, and inspection readiness.
  • Manage budget planning, financial oversight, and vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and inspection standards.
  • Develop and mentor teams, including direct reports and external contractors.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, science, or business (advanced training in project management preferred).
  • Minimum 12+ years in Medical Affairs operations or related roles in pharma/biotech, with 5+ years in leadership.
  • Proven expertise in project management, budget oversight, and process optimization.
  • Strong background in vendor management, metrics reporting, and operational systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of compliance, regulatory, and inspection readiness requirements.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High degree of integrity and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work remotely, with 10-15% travel for meetings.
