The Facilities Technician II plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of facility systems, including HVAC, lighting, and plumbing. This position involves daily maintenance, troubleshooting site infrastructure, and collaborating with contractors on small projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with digital ticketing systems, ensuring safety compliance, and managing logistics and inventory. Key Responsibilities
  • Execute daily maintenance on facility systems (HVAC, lighting, plumbing).
  • Support logistics and inventory management, including shipping and receiving.
  • Troubleshoot site infrastructure and coordinate timely resolutions.
  • Collaborate with contractors on small projects and infrastructure improvements.
  • Document work in Jira or other ticketing systems.
  • Ensure safety and EHS compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with CMMS or digital ticketing systems (Jira, Fiix, Maximo).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform mobility tasks.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including non-standard shifts and weekends.
  • Reliable transportation to report to Stennis worksite.
  • Must be able to work at heights and on ladders.
