We are seeking an experienced AI Staff Software Engineer to lead the design and delivery of AI-native accessioning automation across various forms. This role involves working in high-autonomy pods to build fast and ship independently from prototype to production, applying AI pragmatically using advanced technologies such as LLMs, OCR, vision models, and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the product outcome while partnering with Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to measure throughput.
  • Integrate AI solutions across systems and build them into existing commerce and fulfillment platforms.
  • Set the engineering bar with AI-assisted development, test automation, CI/CD, and observability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of experience building production systems that handle real business processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to ship AI-powered features in production environments.
  • Experience with AI-assisted tooling such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot.
  • Strong backend fundamentals in REST/gRPC, microservices, relational databases, and event-driven architectures.
  • Proficiency in Python or modern backend languages such as Java, Go, or TypeScript.
