As we continue to scale, we are looking for a skilled Corporate Paralegal to join our growing Legal team. In this role, you will support the legal department in managing a range of corporate and commercial legal matters while helping ensure that the company’s operations comply with relevant laws and regulations in the tech and SaaS industry.
• Position Overview:
The Corporate Paralegal will work closely with the General Counsel and internal business teams to assist in managing corporate governance, commercial contracts, compliance matters, and strategic projects that are vital to the continued success of WorkWave. The ideal candidate will bring experience from a corporate environment, ideally within a SaaS or tech company, and have a strong understanding of the legal needs specific to the software industry.• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited program, or juris doctor.
• At least two years of experience as a corporate paralegal, ideally within a technology or SaaS company.
• Familiarity with SaaS agreements, intellectual property (IP) issues, and privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to follow through on projects to completion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business teams and external partners.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to legal work with the ability to think strategically and handle complex legal issues.
