Learn more about it here.  THE OPPORTUNITY We are hiring a Specialist Software Engineer for our Platform Services team in Brazil. In this role, you will be responsible for the front-end development for the Platform Services team, which is responsible for providing a range of services to be used across the entire Wellhub. As the Specialist Software Engineer, you will be responsible for elaborating, debating, and implementing solutions to diverse scenarios regarding the services we provide, from back-office solutions to end-user mobile applications. You are expected to exert leadership and strategic thinking, as well as apply your technical expertise and support other team members. YOUR IMPACT Lead the front-end development in the Platform Services team.Design and implement straightforward solutions to complex scenarios. Work closely with the product team to translate their vision and needs into technical approaches that make sense to the engineering team, and vice-versa. Serve as a focal point in the communication with other teams and areas of the company. Serve as a technical reference to the team and gain recognition as such across the company. WHO YOU ARE You are a specialist front-end software developer with strong expertise in React and React Native, along with a solid understanding of related technologies.  You have experience with distributed systems and modern system designs, including cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, Backend for Frontend (BFFs), Micro Frontends, as well as web and mobile applications. Your background includes designing and developing complex modern mobile and web applications. You have worked on developing RESTful and GraphQL web services, collaborating with front-end teams to create mockups, define payloads, and adhere to HTTP best practices. Additionally, you have experience in architecting large-scale, multi-tier web applications. As a team player, you thrive in collaborative environments, providing mentorship to junior colleagues and actively seeking support from peers. You communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, and can articulate ideas clearly when speaking to groups in both Portuguese and English. You have a strong desire for learning and self-development, and you hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or possess equivalent professional experience.
