Design Team & Culture We have a well established design and tech writing team, and are now looking to mature our UX writing / content strategy at JumpCloud. We have UX leadership at the highest level in the company, and the value of UX is recognized across the organization. We’re a fun bunch of product design & research professionals. We have regular skillshare meetings, team-wide & smaller group critiques, & team-building exercises monthly. What you’ll be doing: The primary focus for this role will be to contribute to our ever-growing JumpCloud platform. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to establish frameworks and guidelines, generate best practices and drive the evolution of UX writing and content strategy across the entire platform. More specifically, you’ll: Oversee writing style and tone for all content; ensuring polished, professional and well structured content throughout the platform Develop content governance guidelines for tone, style, and voice of all content; and ensure they are followed Develop editorial strategy, so content is consistent across all delivery platforms Conduct periodic content audits and follow up on issues that need to be addressed Track and calculate content ROI Ensure that content strategy meets business objectives and aligns with overall platform vision Create simple, intuitive flows & experiences that delight our customers Make day-to-day design decisions during implementation Lead collaborative design sessions with Product Management, Product Design & Engineering to reach a shared understanding of deliverables. Partner with the UX leadership team & broader UX team as a whole to shape how we constantly improve the UX we deliver for our customers. Who you are: You have 8+ years of related experience in UX Writing and/or Content Strategy at fast-paced tech companies delivering customer value quickly to the market. You’ve shipped products over the years & are skilled at balancing both business-to-consumer and business-to-business considerations. You’re well-versed in data-informed product design & development. You empathize with our unique IT users & are skilled at simplifying complex functional operations into smooth & intuitive experiences. You have experience working in an agile environment with design, product, & engineering leaders to align on product strategy and make it real as a team. You’re a trusted mentor. Your actions, experience, & knowledge are influential to design and designers. You’re passionate about design culture. You’re a voice of UX writing, content strategy, design principles & methods across all functions and levels of the organization. You drive collaboration across UX, Engineering & Product teams to maintain a cohesive design and experience throughout the product portfolio.
