Remote Pharmacy Care Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Specialty Pharmacy Care Coordinator to join our remote team in the US. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the patient experience by managing prior authorizations, sourcing financial assistance, and coordinating medication dispensing.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete prior authorizations on behalf of patients.
• Source financial assistance to help patients access their medications.
• Process pharmacy claims efficiently.
• Coordinate medication dispensing and shipping processes.
• Engage with patients, providers, and care teams via phone to address inquiries.
• Master core pharmacy tech skills, including processing claims and dispensing medications.
• Build workflows in a dynamic startup environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in benefits investigation and prior authorization.
• Familiarity with QS1, ComputerRx, PioneerRx, WAM; EMR/Specialty systems like EPIC, Cerner, Therigy.
• Comfortable engaging with patients and care teams.
• Knowledge of specialty medications (autoimmune, endocrinology, oncology) is a plus.
• Creative problem-solver focused on improving patient experience.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
