Raptor Thermal Engineer

Join our team as a Thermal Engineer focusing on Raptor components. In this role, you will design and support thermal control assemblies for the Raptor engine, ensuring the maintenance of component temperatures across a range of 70–5000K fluids.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and support thermal control assemblies for the Raptor engine.
• Create CAD drawings, analyses, and component specifications.
• Lead root-cause investigations throughout development, production, testing, and launch phases.
• Develop manufacturable, high-reliability flow control devices.
• Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, testing, and flight teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics.
• 1+ years of experience designing thermal systems through work or projects.
• Experience with heat transfer and modeling (FEA/CFD).
• Knowledge of electronics cooling techniques (heat sinks, phase-change, liquid cooling).
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with effective cross-team communication.
• Master’s degree or 1+ years in mechanical or aerospace engineering is a plus.
