Investigations Analyst Role

The Investigations Analyst will conduct comprehensive investigations and analysis to support SpaceX's intellectual property and security initiatives. This role requires upholding standards of confidentiality, objectivity, legality, and timeliness in all investigations and analyses.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze program data to evaluate insider threat risks.
• Triage anomalous data events related to exfiltration and data destruction.
• Conduct internal investigations in collaboration with Information Security, HR, Legal, and partners.
• Utilize network monitoring and DLP/SIEM/UEBA tools to identify anomalies.
• Plan and execute investigations, including evidence collection, interviewing, and reporting.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in internal investigations, information security, or IT; OR 4+ years in lieu of a degree.
• 1+ year of experience using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Panther, Exabeam) and/or digital forensics in a government or corporate environment.
• Understanding of insider threat missions and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Purview for eDiscovery.
• Familiarity with continuous assessment and detection tuning for insider risk.
