Heavy-Duty Shop Technician

As a Heavy-Duty Shop Technician, you will perform onsite diagnostic and repair work on heavy-duty commercial vehicles. Your expertise will be crucial in utilizing OEM diagnostic software and tools to accurately identify and resolve issues, ensuring the vehicles are safe and operational.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and repair work on heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
• Utilize OEM diagnostic software/tools (Cummins, PACCAR, Snap-on, JPRO, ECT).
• Document diagnostics and repairs on service orders.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Communicate repair findings with shop leadership as needed.
• Perform maintenance on aftertreatment, brakes, suspension, tires, A/C, and electrical systems.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Experience repairing heavy-duty trucks or equipment.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of aftertreatment, brakes, transmissions, clutches, suspension, tires, and wheels.
• Experience with air conditioning diagnostics and maintenance for heavy-duty equipment.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and lighting systems.
