DevOps Engineer Role

The DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in streamlining our development and operations processes. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both software development and IT operations, enabling them to create a seamless workflow from development to deployment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.
  • Collaborate with development teams to define and implement infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Monitor and optimize application performance, security, and reliability.
  • Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Support incident management and troubleshooting for production systems.
  • Implement configuration management tools to manage system configurations.
  • Facilitate communication between development and operations teams to foster a DevOps culture.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure best practices.
  • Document processes and procedures for the DevOps lifecycle.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Proficiency with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ruby).
  • Understanding of infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
