Data Center Operations Engineer

The Senior Data Center Operations Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in managing the infrastructure of our data center. This position involves a combination of hands-on work and strategic coordination with various teams to ensure the optimal functioning of our hardware and software systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Rack, label, cable, and configure new server, storage, and network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in GPU and networking systems.
• Document and update data center layout and network topology in DCIM software.
• Coordinate with supply chain and manufacturing for large-scale deployments.
• Manage a parts depot and track equipment from delivery to handoff.
• Partner with hardware support to resolve incidents and share solutions with operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Strong experience with critical data center infrastructure: power, cooling, DCIM, and cabling.
• Familiarity with carrier DIA tests, fiber testing, and turn-ups.
• Basic knowledge of cable optics and types.
• Solid understanding of single- and three-phase power theories and PDU balancing.
• Knowledge of cold aisle and hot aisle containment strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
