The Accountant I - Revenue will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with GAAP through contract reviews and general ledger management. This position involves collaborating with various departments, including Legal and Professional Services, to maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform contract reviews to ensure GAAP compliance.
  • Prepare and record general ledger entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations to verify, allocate, post, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support month/year-end close processes and assist with annual audits.
  • Analyze and communicate periodic results to Accounting management.
  • Assist in research and preparation of technical accounting memos related to revenue and expense accounting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Prior experience in public accounting or a similar position.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and month/year-end close.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  • Familiarity with accounting financial statements.
  • Ability to work independently.
