As a Veterinary Assistant, you will provide compassionate care to all patients while supporting veterinarians and Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) in delivering optimal animal healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and owners; record weight and vital signs.
  • Triage patients, perform exams, and administer medications as directed by LVTs.
  • Take radiographs and perform basic laboratory tests.
  • Maintain medical records and accurately document controlled drugs.
  • Communicate with clients and educate them on wellness plans.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant veterinary experience performing duties.
  • Equivalent education/certification/experience considered.
  • Ability to work with sick animals, hazardous materials, and anesthetics.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
