The Paraprofessional will play a critical role in assisting the firm’s Trusts & Estates group and Legal Department. This position requires a strong understanding of trust administration, tax compliance, and effective communication with clients and professionals in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in trust administration under the guidance of tax professionals.
  • Review and summarize trust documents while gathering and tracking relevant information.
  • Prepare or review estate tax returns (Form 706) and gift tax returns (Form 709); prepare or review accountings.
  • Handle CPA licensing, business registrations, and compliance filings for firm entities.
  • Draft, review, and maintain NDAs and engagement agreements.
  • Assist with subpoenas and corresponding document productions.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients and keep them informed throughout the process.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 3+ years of paralegal experience focusing on trusts and estates.
  • Strong knowledge of post-death trust administration.
  • Understanding of tax-exempt organizations is a plus.
  • Ability to research relevant statutes and regulations applicable to CPA firms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience interacting directly with clients and third-party vendors.
  • Notary Public certification is a plus.
