The Sr. Manager of Supplement Formulation will lead the development of innovative dietary supplement formulations, focusing on ingredient evaluation, substantiation of claims, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet consumer needs and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct evaluations of new ingredients and technologies.
  • Propose ingredient dosages that deliver consumer benefits.
  • Collaborate with vendors for emerging technologies.
  • Translate scientific research into substantiated claims.
  • Document claims substantiation and prepare presentations.
  • Partner with internal teams to align on product claims.
  • Stay updated on health trends and competitive landscape.
  • Work with patent attorneys on novel formulations.
  • Oversee multiple projects and propose process improvements.
  • Communicate findings effectively across the organization.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • 5-10 years of experience in dietary supplements.
  • Proven track record in product formulation.
  • Experience in claim substantiation required.
  • Strong network in the functional ingredient supplier industry.
  • Knowledge of skin, hair, and scalp biology is a plus.
  • Familiarity with dietary supplement regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings.
