GFM is comprised of more than a dozen web-based/cloud-based applications which facilitate the communication between SDDC, shipping businesses, and commercial transport companies in support of the bidding, selection, and coordination of military equipment and personnel requiring transportation anywhere around the world.\nHOW A DATABASE ANALYST SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT\n\nDetermines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviewing objectives with clients; evaluating current systems;\nDevelops database solutions by designing proposed system; defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, security, back-up, and recovery specifications.\nInstalls database systems by developing flowcharts; applying optimum access techniques; coordinating installation actions; documents actions.\nMaintains database performance by identifying and resolving production and application development problems; calculating optimum values for parameters; evaluating, integrating, and installing new releases; completing maintenance; answering user questions.\nProvides database administration support to GFM Oracle databases in development, test, and operational environments.\nProvides database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems.\nProvides database backup support as directed by the customer\n\nWHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL NEED TO SUCCEED:\n\nDesigning data analytics\nExperience implementing MDM, data lake in large enterprise\nExperience implementing big data solutions using cloud technologies\nCreate complex data models for OLTP, Data Warehouse, logical Data warehouse applications\nCurrent knowledge building data models, data layer using data federation and master data management\nCreative in identifying ways to reduce risks to avoid project delays\n\nREQUIREMENTS:\n\nActive Secret Clearance\nIAT II certification required (Sec+)\nBachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with a major or specialized courses in Information Technology or commensurate experience\n10+ years related experience with Oracle relational database management system (RDBMS)/Tools, RDBMS Java Development Kit (JDK), Serena Business Mashups, Apache , Tomcat, JAVA, UniData, UniBasic, C, CVS Version Manager (or other software versioning tool), Active Server Pages (ASP), JavaScript, Visual Basic Scripting Edition (VBScript), and/or Unix shell scripts.\n\nGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:\n\n401K with company match\nComprehensive health and wellness packages\nInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career\nProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications\nCutting-edge technology you can learn from\nRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays\n\nThe likely salary range for this position is $110,500 \xe2\x80\x93 $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
