Previous experience in building and managing a sales team from the ground up. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving ambitious goals. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to interpret sales performance metrics and drive improvements. You will be responsible for: Build and lead a high-performing sales team focused on selling fleet card solutions to SMB trucking companies. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets and expand our customer base. Recruit, train, and mentor team members, fostering a culture of success, accountability, and continuous improvement. Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to optimize sales strategies and enhance product offerings. Track weekly and monthly progress and success of your team by measuring various primary KPIs, coaching and enabling their success across short and long-term goals Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Ensure correct use of CRM, processes, and best practices to maintain pipeline hygiene, planning, and forecasting.
