This role involves leading vehicle-level signal integrity (SI), grounding, and shielding strategies across various vehicle platforms. The engineer will define RF performance requirements for transmitters, receivers, and antennas while overseeing SI/PI simulations for high-speed interfaces and power distribution networks (PDNs). Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to implement best practices in SI, RF design, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Additionally, the engineer will develop validation plans and troubleshoot issues related to vehicle-level SI, RF/wireless performance, and EMC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead SI, grounding, and shielding strategies across vehicle platforms.
  • Define RF performance requirements for various components.
  • Oversee SI/PI simulations for high-speed interfaces and PDNs.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement SI, RF design, and EMC best practices.
  • Develop and execute validation plans; troubleshoot issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with relevant coursework.
  • 10+ years of experience in signal integrity, RF design, and EMC validation.
  • Knowledge of CISPR, ISO, SAE, FCC, and UNECE EMC standards.
  • Proficiency with Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Hands-on experience in automotive SI/EMC validation.
